Why are you so angry?
What is anger? Anger is an emotion toward someone or something. Why do we feel angry? Because we expected something different, or at least we didn’t expect that particular outcome from something or someone. Yes, this is a fair description, but why do we even have expectations? Because we have become used to having them from day one. As a kid, how many times were you told, “Be good and I will reward you with candy, a movie, toys, etc.” That’s where our expectations came from! They have been embedded in us from day one.
What does anger actually do to us? Anger destroys us! That’s a simple way of saying it, but really that’s all it does! We get angry, we lose control of our emotions, and step down to the level of letting our emotions be equal to our anger. I will repeat again, We step down to that level! We yell, we curse, we throw things, and much more, right? Why do we allow ourselves to go down to that level? Whatever caused us such anger, should not control our emotions and our lives! How many people are affected by your anger? Your other half, family, kids, pets? Everyone around you, right! How fair is it that you pass this on to them? How fair is it to you that you let it affect you this much?

When you allow the anger get the best of you, affect you this way where you pass it on to others, you actually lower your standards. You let your guard down, you allow those low insecurities come out and the worst everyone gets to see the ugly side of you.
I don’t think lowering your standards is the way to go. So, promise yourself that you will be ready whenever that impulse arises in you. If you give in to your anger like this it is unlikely to result in the best outcome for you. So, this is when you force yourself to not get angry! You just let it go. You have already mentally prepared yourself for whatever the outcome may be! Easy, right! Actually, it is not that hard. It just takes a little bit of effort before you master it, since you have already stopped thinking about it and giving a sh*t, put simply!
Do not let something or someone control your life. You are the only one that can and should control your life, no one else! Don’t allow that crazy driver who took your parking spot control your day. Why would you let them do that to you? Do not let that pizza girl give you attitude because she is in a bad mood. Do not let that random mean person on social media get to you. They are the ones having a bad day if they allow their anger to show. Let them keep that bad, negative, sad energy to themselves. Do not let them pass it on to you.

I am sure you don’t want that negative energy, but by letting anger get the best of you like when you got mad at that driver who took your parking spot, yelled at you, flipped you off, and gave you attitude. Keep in mind that anger has a way of taking over, so do not let it take over you. If these people are so miserable with their lives that they have to prove something by stealing your parking spot, give it to them and let it be.
We all know energy is everywhere. Positive energy and negative. Block that negative energy with a smile. Trust me, the other person will feel so dumb, so small, whatever their goal was in a first place.
It’s just best to live each day with a smile on your face. Take it easy. Don’t stress. Take whatever comes your way as a lesson to be learned and with a grain of salt. Most people that have done something wrong, didn’t really mean it. They just allowed that bad, negative energy and their anger to control their day and their emotions!
